- 1). Type "http://gateway.2wire.net" into your Web browser's address bar and press "Enter."
- 2). Click "Firewall" and "Firewall Settings" on the 2Wire router's configuration page.
- 3). Click "Add a New User-Defined Application."
- 4). Type the name of the program you want to forward the ports to in the "Application Name" box.
- 5). Select whether to forward TCP or UDP traffic by clicking "TCP" or "UDP."
- 6). Type a port or port range into the "Port (or Range)" box. For example, forward port 2000 by typing "2000" or forward ports 2000 to 3000 by typing "2000-3000."
- 7). Click "Add Definition."
- 8). Click "Done."
