- 1). Open Internet Explorer 8 from the Windows Start menu.
- 2). Select "Tools" from the menu bar and select "Toolbars."
- 3). Select the toolbar(s) you wish to add to the menu. A check mark indicates a visible toolbar. To remove a toolbar already in the menu bar, select it to remove the check and hide the toolbar.
