    • 1). Hold down the "Ctrl" on your keyboard. While holding this button down, press and hold "Alt" and "Delete." A new window will appear on screen. Click "Start Task Manager."

    • 2). Click the "Applications" tab.

    • 3). Click the "New Task..." button.

    • 4). Type "Explorer.exe" (minus quotes) into the box. Click "OK." This will replace Explorer.exe on your computer. Windows Explorer will load, and all of your files and directories will return.
