5) If pain persists, take anti-inflammatory drugs or pain relievers to reduce discomfort.
6) If you suffer from external hemorrhoids, apply apple cider vinegar several times a day to reduce swelling.
7) Don't use toilet paper after taking a dump because it may irritate the swollen areas.
Use wet wipes or take a bath after you make a bowel movement.
8) Drink at least eight glasses of water daily to avoid constipation.
9) If you have external hemorrhoids, you can apply cayenne pepper directly on the area to shrink hemorrhoids.
10) Avoid eating nuts and spicy foods because these products can aggravate bowels.

If your hemorrhoids shrink after you've followed these steps, make sure continue doing some of them, such as exercising, avoiding food irritants, drinking plenty of water, eating fiber-rich foods, using a stool in the toilet and taking multiple baths daily.
If you integrate these steps to your normal routine, the chances of reoccurring hemorrhoids would surely decrease.
