How to Texture a Face
- 1). Examine your face to determine your trouble spots and what you would like to improve. Different foundations produce different texture results, so knowing what you want to improve on will tell you what foundation to apply.
- 2). Rub facial moisturizer onto your skin, paying special attention to dry areas. Allow the lotion to dry before you continue.
- 3). Apply a light layer of semi-transparent foundation if you want to even out your skin tone. This creates an even tint across your face while still allowing your natural glow to shine through the makeup.
- 4). Dab liquid foundation across your face if you have dry skin. The liquid foundation holds down flaky skin so it's less noticeable. Rub it onto your skin in a circular motion using a makeup sponge.
- 5). Cover up heavy facial damage using a creamy foundation to even out the rifts in your face. Place small beads of the foundation in deep scars on your face. Smooth the cream over your entire face to make your complexion smooth.
