- 1). Click "Start." Type "Windows Media Player" in the search box at the bottom of the "Start" menu.
- 2). Click the "Burn" tab on the right side of Windows Media Player.
- 3). Pull the scroll bar down in the center pane. Click and drag the songs that will be burned to the CD into the "Burn List" in the right pane.
- 4). Look at the "Burn List" after all songs have been added. Find the following line of text positioned at the top of the list: "Disc 1 (20:30)." The number in parentheses is the total calculated length of the songs that will be burned to a CD.
