Audi A3 3.2 Quattro Performance
- The 3.2 L DOHC V-6 in the A3 3.2 Quattro produced 250 horsepower and 236 foot-pounds of torque. It featured a narrow-angle cylinder arrangement, at 15 degrees, and was mounted transversely in the car.
- The A3 3.2 Quattro came standard with Audi's "S-line" sport package, which offers a lower stance, improved cornering, deeper bucket seats and a stiffer ride. The "S-line" package was an optional extra on the cheaper A3 2.0T.
- The A3 3.2 Quattro came standard with Audi's DSG, a dual-clutch semi-automatic transmission. No other transmissions were available. Audi's signature Quattro all-wheel drive system was also standard.
- The A3 3.2 Quattro was offered in Europe as a three-door hatch, but in the U.S. it was only offered as a five-door "wagon." Audi still refers to it as a true hatchback, though. It came standard with 17-inch wheels, with an option for 18-inch wheels.
- Varying reviews place the A3 3.2 Quattro's zero-to-60 mph acceleration time between 6 seconds and 6.8 seconds, with the quarter-mile time between 14.5 seconds and 15 seconds. It holds .86g on the skidpad.
