How to Make a Spotlight for Fishing
- 1). Use wire snippers to cut off the cord of an old shop lamp. Leave about three to four feet of cord attached to the lamp.
- 2). Strip the outer sheathing off to access the positive and negative wires inside the outer cord. Strip these wires too.
- 3). Attach O-rings to the ends of positive and negative wires in the lamp's cord.
- 4). Remove the negative and positive battery cables on the boat's battery.
- 5). Attach the two ends of wire to the corresponding negative and positive battery terminals and then install the battery cables with the adjustable wrench.
- 6). Turn on the hand-held spotlight to test it out.
