- 1). Enter "*#06#" (without quotes) to display the Sagem's IMEI number. The International Mobile Equipment Identification (IMEI) number is used to identify your particular handset. This number is also used to generate the unique subsidy unlock code for your device.
- 2). Contact the customer service department of your mobile network. Request the subsidy unlock code after giving the customer service representative your IMEI number. In most cases, they will give you the code if you have been with them for at least 90 days and your account has no outstanding payments due.
- 3). Turn off your Sagem and remove the battery. Slide the SIM card out and replace it with one from a different network. Reinsert the battery and turn the phone on.
- 4). Enter the subsidy unlock code obtained from your mobile network's customer service department when the phone shows the SIM card error message. Use the keypad to carefully enter all of the digits. Your Sagem is automatically unlocked for use on any network once the code is entered correctly.
