- 1). Insert the XP CD into the computer.
- 2). Restart the computer. Press any key when prompted to boot from CD.
- 3). Press "Enter" at the welcome screen and "F8" at the license agreement.
- 4). Highlight the drive containing your XP installation (normally C) and press "R" to perform the re-installation, syncing XP with your new motherboard.
