Resolving Conflict and Mending a Broken Marriage

103 3
Conflict is a major issue in any relationship and can lead to its destruction.
Learning how to resolve conflict constructively is one of the key ways of keeping a marriage happy and functional.
It is healthy to have disagreements but how you deal with them determines weather the effect will be positive or negative.
Here are some tips to resolve your conflicts constructively and help fix your marriage in the process.
1.
Identify issues.
The first and most important step is to identify what you are arguing about.
Sometimes when we argue, other issues come up and muddle what we were arguing about in the first place.
Avoid this by taking a step back and identifying the main issue and dealing with just that.
2.
Work together.
Come up with a solution together.
Express your concerns in a non-threatening way and be open to suggestions from your partner.
The best people to solve your problem will be the people involved so try to avoid bringing others like friends and family into the fight and think of your relationship first.
3.
Keep communication open.
After the problem has been solved, keep talking to each other about anything that might be bothering you.
So many times we let things slide and in reality we are just letting them go for now until they all pile up and we can't take it anymore.
If you handle each issue as they come up you and your partner will be better off for it.
4.
Make time.
Life catches up to all of us but it is important to make time for your partner.
Spending time alone enhances a relationship and keeps both parties in touch with each other.
5.
Do little romantic things for each other.
Remember when your relationship was new and you did everything for each other.
Go back to that time and take some of it into the present with you.
Give your partner a massage, buy them small gifts.
Little reminders that you care about them.
