- 1). Slide the drawer open and make sure it is empty. Remove the screws inside the drawer, near the front face of the drawer with a Phillips screwdriver. These screws attach the sliding rail to the drawer. You will find one on each side of the drawer.
- 2). Push the drawer back slightly while bracing the side rails to hold them still. The drawer will release from the guide tabs holding it on the sliding rail.
- 3). Tip the back of the drawer up slightly and pull it out of the toolbox.
