How to Remove Microsoft .NET Framework From a USB Drive in XP

    • 1). Plug the USB drive into the Windows XP computer. The computer will identify the USB device as a removable storage drive and assign a drive letter.

    • 2). Right-click the Windows "Start" button and select "Windows Explorer" from the pop-up menu.

    • 3). Click on the USB drive in the left panel of Windows Explorer. The files on the drive will appear in the right panel.

    • 4). Right-click on the .NET Framework file and select "Delete." Click "OK" to confirm the deletion. The .NET Framework file is deleted from the USB drive.

    • 5). Repeat the process for additional unwanted files on the USB drive.
