- 1). Renew your camper tag online using the Colorado Department of Motor Vehicles online vehicle registration renewal application (colorado.gov).
- 2). Enter your license plate number to begin renewing your tag. Once your license plate number is entered your personal information will appear. From here you must enter your address, email address and your payment information. You may pay using a credit card or you can have your renewal fees electronically debited from your checking account by entering your bank account number and routing number. Fees are based on the type of camper you have and the type of tag on your camper. Your new tag registration is mailed to you within one week of renewal.
- 3). Visit any Colorado Department of Motor Vehicles office to renew your camper tags. Provide your photo identification and your tag renewal notice. Pay the fee to renew your tag with cash, credit card or personal check. Your new tag is issued to you while you wait.
