The Turning Out of Disappointments For the Good
During your lifetime you experience that many things can go wrong and at that stage you do not understand the reasons for that.
The reaction to that is that you feel disappointed.
However GOD can take your disappointments to turn out for the good at a later stage.
According to the Bible the ways of GOD are higher than our ways and His thoughts higher than our thoughts, just as the heavens are higher than the earth.
It can happen that many years after certain incidents you will discover the reason for that and then you will be glad and will be grateful against GOD.
One incident as it appears in the Bible is one night after the resurrection of Jesus the disciples went out fishing just as they did before.
That night they caught nothing.
Early in the morning Jesus stood on the beach and asked them if they caught something, but they replied nothing.
So He gave them instructions to throw the net out on the right side of the boat, and they will find some fish.
The result was that they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.
Jesus then said bring some of the fish you have caught.
Then they dragged the net ashore and when they counted the fish, the number was 153, but even with that heavy load the net was not torn.
Every person is inclined to feel disappointed when things go wrong, but as the apostle Paul wrote, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of GOD for you in Christ Jesus.
