Don"t Hurt Yourself With Your Toxic Behavior

103 24
Do you always feel that people are up against you? Your colleagues are unfriendly and uncooperative.
You cannot find a lunch-mate.
Your boss is not understanding.
Your overseas counterpart is bossy.
The courier service personnel gives you problems.
Even the food seller passes unkind remarks about you.
Doesn't he know that 'the customer is always the king'? You feel hurt.
You feel miserable.
Your health suffers.
How can they be doing all these to you? Before you jump the gun and accuse others of their 'bad' behavior, why not ask yourself why is everyone behaving in that manner? Surely there must be a reason.
What you see in their behavior is actually a mirror of your own behavior.
Do you always pull a long face? Do you always wait for someone to greet you in the morning before you will do likewise? Do you always complain and grumble about practically everything under the sun? Do you still feel heated and angry whenever you think or talk about things that put you down even though these moments may have long passed? Sometimes you may not realize that it is actually your toxic behavior that is driving others to reciprocate in the same manner.
Relationship with others is always a 2-way traffic.
If you are nasty to others, you can expect the same return treatment.
If you are nice to others, it is unlikely that they will behave badly towards you.
Everyone is good at heart.
Nobody really wants to hurt others intentionally.
Sometimes, the doer does not even realize the pain and hurt caused.
She may be hurting so much inside that she needs to lash out at others.
But this being a double-sided sword, she gets hurt as a result.
Why not tell yourself that you can make things better? Yes, start with yourself.
Love yourself.
It is only when your emotional well-being is taken care of then will you be in a better position to extend your love to others.
Respect others.
Treat them nicely, the way you wish to be treated.
Overlook their short-comings.
Replace anger with love, complaints with compliments.
Slowly but surely, you will see the world reciprocating to your kindness in ways that you have never thought possible.
