- 1). Click the "Start" button on the lower-left side of the screen. Highlight "All Programs" on the Start menu. Select the "Activate Windows" option.
- 2). Click "Yes" on the "Let's activate Windows" page. Click "Next."
- 3). Select "Yes" on the "Register with Microsoft?" page and click "Next."
- 4). Complete the form on the "Collecting Registration Data" page and click "Next."
- 5). Click "Yes" on the "Thank You" page; XP is registered.
