• Image editors allow the user to edit their image files, including color correction, adding text and resizing. Microsoft Paint is the native image editor for Windows XP. Popular commercial image editors for Windows XP include Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Elements and JASC Paint Shop Pro. Image Managers

• Image organizers allow users to organize and manage large amounts of images. Windows File Explorer allows for some image file management. Adobe Bridge is a commercial image organizing application that is compatible with XP while Google Picasa is a free alternative that allows users to upload photos to their Picasa website.
