- 1). Make sure you have an active Internet connection and pull up the IE7 download page from Microsoft.com. Click the "Download" button at the top of the blue box on this page.
- 2). Click the "Start download" link on the "About your download" page that you are brought to. To download the IE7 setup file, select "Open" in the download window that pops up. When it has loaded, open it.
- 3). Click on the "Next" button when the Windows Internet Explorer 7 installation screen pops up on your monitor. You will be shown a license agreement that you must accept in order to use the browser. Read this agreement and click "Accept" if you agree to Microsoft's terms.
- 4). Allow IE7 to copy its files to your computer and install on your system. A window will notify you once the IE7 installation is complete. The newly installed copy of IE7 can now be used to browse the web.
