How Do I Change the Icons on the Windows Start Menu?
- 1). Open the Start menu.
- 2). Right-click a program you wish to remove from the menu.
- 3). Select "Remove from this list." The program will then disappear from the Start menu.

- 2). Open the Control Panel by clicking its icon in the Start menu. The Control Panel window will launch and the Start menu will close.
- 3). Click the "Appearance and Personalization" icon in the resulting Control Panel window.
- 4). Select "Taskbar and Start Menu" from the resulting "Personalization" window.
- 5). Highlight the Start menu from the resulting window, then select "Customize."
- 6). Place or remove checks next to the desired applications, then click "OK" to save the changes.
