- 1). Open Internet Explorer.
- 2). Click the gear-shaped "Tools" icon at the top-right of the browser window, and select "Manage Add-ons."
- 3). Click the "Show" drop-down menu under the top left pane and select "All Add-ons."
- 4). Right-click any add-on and select "More Information."
- 5). Click "Remove" from the More Information window to remove the add-on. If an administrator confirmation window appears, click "OK," or enter the administrative password if you are not currently logged in as an administrator.
As an alternative, click "Disable" from the Manage Add-ons window to leave them installed, but inactive.
