How to Make a Bobber Out of a Wine Cork
- 1). Drill a hole through the wine cork, vertically.
- 2). Slide the length of wooden dowel through the hole, leaving about 1 inch on either side. It may require some pushing or gentle taps from the hammer, to ensure a snug fit. Saw off any excess length, and discard it.
- 3). Use the saw to carefully carve a notch in one end of the dowel. This notch provides a place to tie the fishing line to the bobber.
- 4). Tie the bobber to the fishing line, securing it at the notch.
