  Disney resorts are among the most popular tourist destinations in the world. Though visitors of all ages enjoy the Disney theme parks, they are especially designed for children familiar with Disney movies, TV shows and characters. The resorts themselves feature their own hotels, but a number of kid-friendly places to stay have also sprung up outside the parks, usually at more affordable rates than the official Disney hotels. • Nickelodeon Suites Resort is a hotel specifically designed for children, located near Disney World in Florida. The hotel has one-, two- and three-bedroom family suites, all with kitchens, dining tables, microwaves and flat-screen TVs with cable service. • Candy Cane Inn is an affordable kid-friendly hotel located within walking distance to the original Disneyland in Anaheim, California. If walking is not your thing, the hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle to the park which runs every half hour.
