How to Remove Adobe From the Windows Explorer Context Menu
- 1). Press the Windows and "R" keys simultaneously. Type "regedit" without quotation marks in the dialog box that appears. Press "Enter".
- 2). Use the folder tree on the left side of the window to navigate to "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT", "AllFileSystemObjects", "shellex" and "ContextMenuHandlers".
- 3). Right-click the "{C95FFEAE-A32E-4122-A5C4-49B5BFB69795}" folder under "ContextMenuHandlers", and then click "Delete". Click "Yes" to confirm.
- 4). Scroll back to the "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT" folder on the left side of the window, then browse to "Directory", "Background", "shellex" and "ContextMenuHandlers".
- 5). Right-click the "{C95FFEAE-A32E-4122-A5C4-49B5BFB69795}" folder under "ContextMenuHandlers", and then click "Delete".
- 6). Close the registry editor. The Adobe context menu is removed from Windows Explorer.
