Three-tier Diaper Cake

• Make a three-tier diaper cake by filling three different-sized round cake pans with diapers. Wrap a large elastic band around the center of each of the cakes, and stack them on top of each other. Wrap a large ribbon around each cake to hide the elastic, and tie the ribbons into bows. Decorate the diaper cake with baby items, such as pacifiers, baby booties and small baby toys. Top the cake with a small or medium-sized stuffed teddy bear. Place the entire cake onto a large cake tray, and decorate the tray with rolled up baby washcloths, each tied with a ribbon.
  
  

Small Diaper Cake

• Make a simple one-tier diaper cake in less than 20 minutes. Roll 15 disposable diapers with the printed side facing inward, and wrap a small elastic band around each roll. Place a small, soft doll upright on a flat surface, and place the diaper rolls around the doll to make a circle with the doll's head peaking above the diapers. Wrap a large elastic band around the bunch of diapers. Tie a large ribbon around the center of the diapers to hide the elastic, and insert a small silk flower into the top of each diaper. Wrap the diaper cake in tulle netting, leaving the doll's head protruding from the top. Wrap a ribbon around the top of the tulle for a finished gift.
  
  

Diaper Cupcakes

• Instead of a regular diaper cake, make an enormous tray full of diaper cupcakes. Wrap up a plush baby washcloth into a roll, and wrap a diaper around the rolled-up washcloth. Keep the diaper rolled by wrapping an elastic band around the diaper, approximately one-third up from the bottom. Insert a small silk flower or a pacifier into the top center of the rolled washcloth. Place the finished cupcake into a paper cupcake cup, and place it in the center of a cake tray. Continue making cupcakes until the tray is full.
  
  

Diaper Cake Castle

• Make a castle diaper cake for a little prince or princess. Make the castle a three- or four-tier cake by filling round cake pans full of diapers, wrapping an elastic band around each tier and stacking the cakes on top of each other. Wrap two diapers together, wrap an elastic band around the roll to keep it together and place it on top of the tiers. Wrap four individual diapers into rolls and wrap an elastic band around each to keep them closed. Insert a thin wooden dowel into the bottom of each roll and place two on opposite sides of the cake on top of the first tier and two on top of the second tier to make the castle's towers. Place a Styrofoam cone upside down on each of the single diaper rolls and a larger cone on top of the cake.
