    • 1). Stick a wooden skewer into the bottom of a Styrofoam ball. Stick in just enough to support it without puncturing it through.

    • 2). Place the skewer inside a cup so the Styrofoam ball hangs up in the air.

    • 3). Set out a piece of wax paper. Apply a small pile of glue onto the paper.

    • 4). Dip a foam brush into the glue and apply a light layer over the Styrofoam ball.

    • 5). Cut your favorite Christmas wrapping paper into small 1-inch strips. Use a variety of colors and types like shiny, reflective and glitter paper. The more designs, the better.

    • 6). Apply a little glue onto the back of the wrapping paper and apply it evenly on the Styrofoam ball. Push out any air bubbles or dents on the wrapping paper. Repeat this process with the different kinds of wrapping paper until the ball is completely covered.

    • 7). Apply extra glue to any areas that do not stay down. Make sure there are not tears or air bubbles. Let the glue dry for an hour.

    • 8). Pull the Styrofoam ball off the skewer. Cover up the small hole with a tiny piece of wrapping paper and glue. Set the ball on wax paper to dry overnight.

    • 9). Apply three layers of Mod Podge gloss to the ball the next day. Once it dries, examine the glossiness and look of the ball. Apply more Mod Podge as needed.
