Taste Some Great Craft Beer

Great Beer in New Orleans

If you are a connoisseur of good beer then New Orleans is the place for you to be this week. That is because we will be celebrating the Third Annual American Craft Beer Fest. The fest will be spread over many locations in the City during the week of May 16-22nd. The majority of the participating breweries are producing the most interesting and tasty brewskis in the world.

If you haven’t tried Stone’s offering of Ruinous, Arrogant Bastard, Sublimely Self Righteous or Double Bastard - well, you just haven’t lived. There will be so many famous and rare beers offered that one could not possibly do justice to them all. Isn’t that just a shame?

I will be enjoying some of my favorites at the Avenue Pub on St. Charles Ave. This quirky and friendly establishment offers taps rotating 47 draft beers on two levels plus a balcony overlooking the Avenue. They also offer some good pub grub to keep you from getting schnockered.
