How to Convert AVI to ISO Files
- 1). Open a new Finder window by clicking on the icon in the Dock.
- 2). Navigate to the "Applications" section of the Mac hard drive.
- 3). Open the "Utilities" folder and then double-click on the "Disk Utility" icon.
- 4). Click on the "Convert" button in the toolbar at the top of the Disk Utility window.
- 5). Navigate to the location of the AVI file that you want to convert to the ISO format.
- 6). Highlight the AVI file and click on the "Convert" button.
- 7). Choose where to save the converted file and then select "DVD/CD Master" as the format type.
- 8). Click "Save" to begin converting the AVI file to an ISO file. Depending on the size of the audio or video content, the conversion process could take up to a half hour to finish.
- 1). Go to the ISO Creator download page (see Resources) and then download and install version 2.0 of the program.
- 2). Open the ISO Creator application and click on the "Options" button at the bottom of the window.
- 3). Use the file tree in the middle of the window to navigate to the location of the AVI file that you want to convert to an ISO image. Then highlight the file and hit the "Add File" button.
- 4). Click on the "Save ISO as" button and specify where you want the converted ISO file to be saved.
- 5). Click on the "Convert" button to begin converting the AVI file to an ISO file. Depending on the size of the audio or video content, the conversion process could take up to a half hour to finish.
