- 1). Sweep the area around the crack with a broom to remove debris. Make sure the concrete is not wet; if it has rained recently, wait for the area to dry.
- 2). Shake the can of spray paint a few times to mix the contents. Remove the lid from the can of spray paint, if needed. Some cans are designed to spray through the lid.
- 3). Point the nozzle (or lid) a few inches above one end of the concrete crack, depress the nozzle (or lid) to release the paint, and follow the crack to its opposite end. Allow the paint to dry.
- 4). Reapply the paint as it wears off, and repair the crack as soon as possible.
