    • 1). Eliminate white carbohydrates such as white pasta, white bread and white rice from your diet. These are all simple carbohydrates and get stored as fat rather than used for fuel to run your system, as your body cannot use them as efficiently as it can complex carbohydrates.

    • 2). Replace your simple carbohydrates with complex carbohydrates like whole grains and vegetables. These can be burned slower by your body, which means it does not need to store them as fat.

    • 3). Eat lean protein with every meal, such as chicken breasts, tofu and beans.

    • 4). Eliminate fast food and sugary drinks like soda from your diet entirely. These are very calorie-high and nutrient-low, which makes your body more prone to storing fat from them.

    • 5). Attend yoga class at least three times a week in order to burn calories and lose weight.

    • 6). Avoid hot yoga classes like Bikram, as these cause more sweating than cardiovascular work and strength training, which will cause immediate weight loss that will be equally quickly replaced once you drink water.
