- 1). Open a Web browser or word processing application. Click your mouse at the point in the document or Web page where you want to form the symbol.
- 2). Hold down the "Alt" key, and then hit the sequence "0153" to form the "TM" symbol. Use the number pad on the right side of your keyboard; using the numbers along the top of the keyboard doesn't work to form characters.
- 3). Hold "Alt," and then press "0188" to form the fraction symbol for one-fourth. Alternatively, press "0189" to form the symbol for one-half or "0190" for three-fourths.
