How to Convert DivX for Windows Mobile
- 1). Download and Install Windows Media Encoder (see Resources below for a link).
- 2). Open Windows Media Encoder and click the "Convert a file" wizard. Select the DivX file you wish to convert as your source file and select an output file. Click "Next."
- 3). Choose Pocket PC in the "Content Distribution" list. Click "Next."
- 4). Encode your video using the following settings:
Video: Pocket PC standard video (CBR)
Audio: CD quality audio (CBR)
The bitrate field should read as follows:
Total Bit Rate: 259 Kbps
Frame Rate: 20 fps
Output Size: 208 x 160
Click "Next." - 5). Enter any display information and click "Finish."
- 6). The window will close, and you will see the main encoding screen. Click "Start Encoding" at the top of the window. Depending on how long the DivX video is and how powerful your computer is, it will take a few minutes to a few hours to encode the video.
