The New Kindle eBook reader has some very cool features, such as text to speech, so it can read to you while you drive and then when you get there you can switch it to read only.
The new improved system is said to be between 20-25% faster at turning the page, which is cool.
And it stores a much larger collection of books.
The new screen is easier to read, as you can choose fonts and there is an electronic dictionary inside, when you click on a word.
That's very cool.
Supposedly the battery lasts quite a bit longer, which is a major plus, especially when traveling or stuck at jury duty? You know, sometimes you just want to keep reading where ever you are, when the battery is giving out on you, well, it's like some takes your book out of your hands and locks it shut for the rest of the day - that's just no fair! Now many authors are upset because with the reading out loud feature this could take away from their "audio book" sales.
Does this mean that Kindle could be facing lawsuits, the same type as Google faced from writer's guilds when it moved to digitize and put the books online, even books still in print putting many chapters and pages up for people to read? Well, I just love my new Kindle eBook Reader and I think everyone should have one, then maybe America would start reading again.
Far too many people in society don't read enough - Kindle makes it fun and easy!
