- 1). Download the full version of Service Pack 2 for Windows XP from the link in "Resources." Wait for the download to completely finish.
- 2). Double-click the Service Pack 2 file icon once it is fully downloaded.
- 3). Follow the installation instructions that are displayed. The program will ask you to accept a licensing agreement; do so and proceed with the installation.
- 4). Allow the installation to complete. The computer will likely restart itself, and when it does the missing SP2 files will have been replaced during the fresh installation.
