- 1). Click the Ubuntu "Applications" menu.
- 2). Open "Ubuntu Software Center." Click "Edit." Select "Edit Software Sources." Click on the box next to the listing for Wine in the "Other Software" section of the window on screen. Click "Add" to install Wine.
- 3). Double-click on the .EXE file you are trying to extract. Ubuntu will open the Wine software, which will open the .EXE file. Click "Next" to run through the extraction/installation utility (whichever applicable) associated with that .EXE file.
