Edale, England, is a quiet village spread over a valley in the heart of Peak District National Park. It is located at the start of the Pennine Way, ideal for both walkers and mountain bikers. The path opened in 1965 and lays claim to being England's first and oldest footpath. The official start is at The Old Nags Head, one of the two pubs in Edale.
