Hi, everyone. My name is Joi, licensed nail tech, and I want to talk to you all about using pumice for rough cuticles. So what I have here is a pumice that you're going to use for the cuticle removal. If you've even seen a pumice stick, or sorry, or a pumice stone that you use on your heals this is basically the same idea. So what you will do is you'll take this and you'll always what to dip it in water, kind of moisten it a little bit, okay? And we've already actually soaked her nails in water to soften up the cuticle and you take it and you just kind of do an erasing motion so this is going to get any rough dry skin that's stuck to the nail and it just literally erases it. So you don't use this to push back the rough cuticle, you just use it sort of in a scrubbing motion and of course you want to be gentile and we're just going to go all the way around and after you do this, you'll wipe everything off, I'm just going to use a bit of cotton, dip it there, wipe it off and the whole purpose is to smooth everything out. So you're going to follow that ether with your cuticle oil or a little bit of lotion and you'll have your nice soft cuticles. So there you have it, Thanks for watching and my name is Joi, bye.
