In the early 30's and 40's country music was down on the farm music.
There was a change that came about when a gentleman by the name of Hank Williams came on the country seen and changed it up a little bit by adding some blues to music.
He had roots that dug deep in the black community and gave him some soul to add to his music.
With his blues twist added to his music he became a star and paved some ways for up and coming country artist.
Now when it the 60's and 70's came about there was a movement called "Outlaw" country.
This was headed by Waylon Jennings, the most outlawed country artist to this day in country music.
He also was teamed up with Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson.
There was some other country artist that was also in the outlaw movement as well as Hank Williams son Hank Jr.
From Hank Sr.
to Waylon and Hank Jr.
is real country music, the crying of the steel guitar and the playing of a fiddle in the band.
Today's country is just a bunch of wannabe pop artist that is looking for the glory and fame.
Money and fame has murdered country music.
There is a song that George Strait and Alan Jackson sang called "Murder on Music Row" and that is closest to the truth that you will get when it comes to country music.
