- 1). Connect the MIDI PRO-Adapter’s USB plug into one of the PS3’s front console ports.
- 2). Connect one end of the MIDI cable plug into the MIDI PRO-Adapter. Connect the other end into the electric drum kit.
- 3). Flip the instrument select switch to “D.”
- 4). Set the MIDI PRO-Adapter on a stable surface, away from any foot pedals. You can also use the harness clip to attach the unit to the drum set or to your clothing.
- 5). Turn on the drum kit. The MIDI input indicator will light up.
- 6). Press the “PS” button on the MIDI PRO-Adapter to turn the PS3 on.
- 7). Log in to your user account and launch “Rock Band 3” from the XrossMediaBar.
