    • 1). Nail your three 4 by 7 feet plywood walls together with the taller size serving as a wall. If 7 feet is too tall, or 4 feet is not long enough, you can change these specifications to meet your needs. Plywood is easily transportable and is also good for deadening sound, both necessary features of home soundproofing.

    • 2). Nail your first 4 by 4-foot plywood board onto the top, serving as the roof for this three-walled room.

    • 3). Nail together your three 4 by 6 feet, 11 inches plywood walls in the same fashion as the first set, then nail the second 4 by 4-foot board as the second roofing.

    • 4). Align the smaller set so that the connecting wall is backed against the first connecting wall. Nail the ceiling boards to connect the inner walling with the outer walling.

    • 5). Glue or nail your eggshell crates or eggshell foam to the inside walls. Due to their absorbency, this will act as the final step in deadening the sound for your home sound booth.
