The few Latin night clubs in Delaware that exist definitely aim to please offering an authentic Latin experience. You can enjoy Latin decor, foods, tropical drinks, Island music and Salsa dancing all night in Delaware Latin bars and restaurants. • If you're looking for a tropical atmosphere and taste of the islands try Las Palmeras in Bear, Delaware. The Latin bar and restaurant specializes in Puerto Rican and Peruvian food, has a full bar and live entertainment on the weekends. Every Friday night is 'Hip-Hop' night hosted by local DJs spinning dance tunes until 1am. Saturday nights enjoy dancing until 2 a.m at Las Palmera's 'Latin Dance Party' featuring the best in Salsa, Merengue and Bachata music. Sunday nights are 'Salsa Night' when DJ Tony Salsa and other local Latin DJs host an evening of Salsa dancing.

Santa Fe

• Santa Fe is a popular Latin restaurant and nightclub in the Wilmington, Delaware area. The large spacious single level club has a long sidewalk seating area at the entrance lined with miniature palms and bamboo umbrellas. Indoors the modern multi-color contemporary decor envelops the dinning room, bar and dance floor. The club hosts 'Tropical Parties' twice a month that include live Latin entertainment and food and drink specials all night, no cover charge for ladies every Thursday and Happy Hour from 5 pm to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Timothy's of Newark

• Though Timothy's of Newark is more of a classic American restaurant and night club it still offers Delaware residents a fair amount of Latin entertainment. The upscale casual American eatery and lounge hosts themed events weekly including 'A Night Of Salsa' every Wednesday night. Each week the entire upper level--complete with billiard games and bar--plays host to the University Of Delaware Ballroom Dance Team who offer free Salsa lessons to patrons from 9 pm to 9:30. Latin dancing continues all night until 1 am. The lower level has a full bar, restaurant and 350 gallon fish tank and both levels have a scenic deck view of White Clay Creek.
