Opened in early 2011, Josephine SP, the Brazilian version of Washington DC's Josephine, has design inspired in the original club and in great European nightlife spots.
Bronze velvet curtains, iron staircases, and faux snake leather finishes are highlighted by amber lights and LED tubes in synch with the music.
Private lounges overlook the main dance floor; another dance floor (pistinha), smaller and more intimate, has a striking chandelier.
The club is open to the general public on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and reserved for private events the rest of the week. On the state-of-the-art sound system designed by Mood Bacho and Alex Haje of US-based Baha Group, there's hip hop and R&B with DJ Milk on Wednesdays and house and disco with DJ Paulo Jardim and guests on Fridays.
