About 10 years ago, it was the beginning of my college life. I was feeling I am in a new world and growing older. A fancy feeling covered me all the time. Lots of new faces were out there. I found it most comfortable to be with the old mates. First day we didn't do any academic lesson, it was a kind of introducing session. That was a great opportunity for us to know about someone new. I liked a girl just by the window of the room. She was not with us last year; definitely new comer. She was very quiet and listening to others very attentively. There was no particular reason to like but somehow I was just thinking about her. I told my mates about the girl. They asked me to talk with her. We made a primary plan to meet her at the end of the day. My mates handle this type of situation very well. I can't do well because of hesitation. At the end of the lesson we rushed out to the main gate so that we can get her on the way. I found her coming slowly and was on the mobile. The time was not very good to stop someone to talk as she was talking over the phone. We kept her following. In a few minutes she finished talking and was heading towards the bus station. My friends pushed me to talk with her. I under stood, that was the best time to talk, but a hesitation was stopping me.

My friends were getting angry. They were about to leave me. Suddenly a solution came from one of them. "If you can't say anything than gift her some flowers" and if think you are in love then use a single Rose. We entered in the flower shop. It was about 15 mins, we were following that girl. There were not many flowers left then. Bought a small bunch of flowers and gifted her, she took that easily and presented a cute smile with thanks. 'See you later', this was the only sentence I told her.

Flower has its own way of expression. After very long time when I am in the long term relationship with Jenny, asked her about our first meeting. She liked the way I approached. She noticed I was looking at her too much even she guessed our plan to stop her to talk at the end. Probably Girls has the power of understanding better than boys. I was not interesting at all to her on that day and she didn't imagine I will gift her flowers. Since then I believe a single flower can say thousand words.

Flowers are not just for expressing love; it can be used for wishing, saying hallo, welcome baby, weddings, occasions or even in the corporate events. Flowers don't help you to pay your bills, it doesn't provide you food but it meets a silent requirement of your mind. Have you ever spent two minutes to look at the colours of flowers? Have you ever noticed, these colours are not artificial - it is the gift of nature? Probably most of the answer will be 'No'. This is why most of us buy flowers for gifting purpose only. There are very few people, who arrange flowers just for their own. Collect a flower that you like and gift yourself. See, if it gives you any different feeling. Even if you are unable to manage flowers, find out your local florist and visit the flower shop, you will be pleased watching the beauty of those; you will get feelings of innocence.
