How to Uninstall Restricted Programs
- 1). Click on the "Start" menu on Windows desktop. It's the button in the lower left-hand corner of the screen. Click on "Run" and type "regedit" and then press "Enter". A new window will appear.
- 2). Press "Ctrl" and "F" at the same time. A pop-up window will appear. Type in "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Unins tall" and hit "Enter". Wait while the program searches the registry for your key.
- 3). Click "Uninstall" and highlight the entry in the left-hand pane of the "Registry Editor" window. Look at the right-hand pane under the "Data" column for the word "NoAddRemovePrograms". If you see it, right-click on it and select "Delete" from the context menu. You are finished.
- 4). Press "Ctrl" and "F" at the same time if you didn't find "NoAddRemovePrograms" in Step 3. Type in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Unins tall" and hit "Enter". Wait while it searches the registry.
- 5). Click "Uninstall" and highlight the entry in the left-hand pane of the "Registry Editor" window. Look at the right-hand pane under the "Data" column for the word "NoAddRemovePrograms". If you see it, right-click on it and select "Delete" from the context menu. You are finished.
