Pros And Cons Of The Airsoft Spring Pistols

102 3
Airsoft spring pistols can be picked up even by novices. The spring powered guns with a plastic construction are equally good for any skill level. They are light weight and could be as much a delight for amateur air-gunners as they would be for skilled shooters. The magazine capacity of some models could be an incredible 150 rounds while the firing power is impressive too, offering a muzzle velocity in excess of 200 FPS. The guns come with a charging handle which adds to the overall look, sometimes accentuated by a high quality finish and authentic markings. Cotton slings are also provided with some spring guns. The airsoft glock for example has excellent texture and comes with a high impact resistant polymer construction that can take even the toughest of conditions and still perform.

Airsoft spring pistols are powered using a very tight spring and have to be cocked after every shot. Some of these spring pistols dont need batteries to operate and are simple and fast to use. The durable pistols should usually be purchased with the set of 6mm BBs, magazine and a folding bipod. There are other pistols which dont need to be cocked after every shot, which could be a better option over the annoying routine of cocking after every single shot. Some pistols come with a flash light, laser and a side folding along with an integrated railing system to attach scopes or flashlights for better accuracy. The range is also important, for example, airsoft glock can give you an impressive range at a highly affordable price although the lower number of metal parts could be a turn off.

An important disadvantage with conventional airsoft spring pistols is that the hop up is not adjustable. The adjustability of the hop up in some of the more advanced models provides better accuracy especially when you are using different types of pellets. The mechanism in the spring powered pistols is quite simple and although cocking the gun after every shot doesnt take a lot of time, it still seems to be a slower pistol to operate compared to some of the other models with very high firing rates. Models like the airsoft glock could be picked for performance and aesthetics. The Glock models provide safety and readiness as far as firing is concerned with a trigger blocked from moving backwards until and unless pressed, to prevent accidents.

Advanced airsoft spring pistols come with manual cocking modes but have an adjustable hop up for greater accuracy. This is a better option compared to pre-set hop up where you cannot adjust shooting accuracy with pellets of different types. You need to check whether the model of your choice has a locking slide. Weight too is important with more durable pistols being slightly heavier owing to the greater number of metallic parts. This is also true with the airsoft glock which feels realistic with the weight as well as the pounding that it can offer with impressive range and muzzle velocity.
