Pianos Everywhere, But Not a Pianist to Play!
Many homes in the country do not have a musical instrument within the walls of the home; however there are many homes that do.
Usually the instruments are in the cellar or the attic, or even stored away in some closet.
The most popular instrument that is proudly displayed, almost like a piece of furniture, is the piano.
In fact, whenever anyone that enters another person's home notices a piano, they will usually inquire, "Who plays the piano?" This can be quite a conversation starter.
Even IF you do not play, perhaps by purchasing a piano and having it delivered to your home, maybe you will one day learn to play it, whether you hire someone to come give you a weekly lesson, or even if you teach yourself through books and DVD courses.
Or maybe you have a family member, child or grandchild that will learn how to play one day.
There is more of a chance to get them to learn when they see this massive musical instrument just sitting there! The holidays will be more fun, as will any party or get together, because there are many people out there that know how to play, at least a little bit.
You may have a guest jump behind the keys, whether they ask permission or not, and bust into song.
How fun it would be to hear "Hark, The Herald Angels Sing" at Christmas time, in your own home, while your guest is unexpectedly playing on your new piano! A piano also can become a friend, and an awesome activity to get absorbed in, after a loss of a loved one, a divorce, a retirement, or having a child go off to college, and leaving the home seem empty.
Maybe you are not ready to take lessons or learn to play right now, but one day, you will be glad that the piano is there! You will see! Oh, but first you need to obtain one.
Well, rather than go to a music or piano store, and have a salesman convince you that you need this "wonderful $15,000 piano for JUST $8,000!" Maybe it would be better to find one that looks good to you, and is only two or three grand.
Besides, it is a NEW piano, and it will be fine, especially because it was not previously owned, and it didn't get beat up, mistreated, scratched or whatever else can be wrong with a used one.
Just as you can go online, to a website, and purchase items, from toys to jewelry, from clothing to gift items, you can ALSO purchase a piano! Maybe it's time you got one for yourself, to add a certain flavor or excitement to the atmosphere to your home.
Then when Christmas comes around again, you will all be enjoying a sing-a-long!
