How to Make a Child's Double Crochet Blanket
- 1). Chain 40. Vary the number of chains to fit the width of the blanket you want to make.
- 2). Double crochet in the fourth chain from the hook, and in each chain across.
- 3). Chain three to turn. Double crochet in the first stitch and in each stitch across.
- 4). Repeat Step 3 until the blanket is as long as you'd like it to be.
- 5). Chain one, and single crochet in each stitch across.
- 6). Cut the yarn with a few inches of a tail, tie an overhand knot against the last stitch, and weave the tail into the blanket.
