How to Make a Large Mold
- 1). Knead the polymer clay for five minutes to release any trapped air.
- 2). Form the clay into a ball.
- 3). Cut the ball in half with a clay knife.
- 4). Place the large sculpture or object in between the halves.
- 5). Press the halves around the object firmly.
- 6). Use your finger to gently pull the halves away from the object.
- 7). Place the halves onto a cookie sheet.
- 8). Bake the halves in a 150-degree Fahrenheit oven for 15 minutes. Allow the halves to cool.
- 9). Make copies of the large object by pressing clay into the hardened mold, then removing and baking the clay.
