Homemade Camouflage Stencil
- 1). Draw long, fluid, irregular camouflage sections on a sheet of heavy poster board with a pencil. Round some edges and leave others untouched. Check a photo of a camouflage design for reference if necessary.
- 2). Tape the poster board to a flat cutting board with masking tape. This will help to keep your board in place as you cut it, allowing for more precisely cut edges.
- 3). Cut out the shapes that your drew with a utility knife. Cut carefully to avoid rough edges and uneven lines. Remove the shapes that you cut.
- 4). Remove the tape from the poster board. Lay the stencil over an area to which you want to add a camouflage pattern.
- 5). Fill in the shapes with paint or markers in shades of tan, brown, gray or green.
