Ebay Business Tips - Is Ebay For You?
Before getting too serious about making an income on eBay, it's a good idea to think about whether or not eBay is a good fit for you. EBay is not for everybody. You may put a lot of time into eBay and then after realizing what a huge commitment it this business requires, you just might change your mind.
To run a business on eBay does yield great rewards, but it also requires a huge commitment of time and a lot of energy.
Please don't get me wrong, I am not trying to discourage you from giving it a try, I just want to make sure you understand the challenges before you jump into it. An eBay business may be just what you are looking for.
**Do You Love Working At Your Computer?**
If you don't mind long hours in front of your computer, eBay just may be the perfect business for you. You will have to spend many long hours every day listing you products, answering emails, keeping your records up, etc., etc. Oh, and you don't want to forget about the time you will be spending on record keeping, dealing with shipping, visiting discussion boards to keep up with the latest trends, and the time to you will spend keeping up on the constant changes of the internet.
Now think about what I just said and then think about your activity level. Are you a physically active person? Do you get fidgety after sitting for an hour or so? Do love to get out side and do gardening and other physical work?
If you are an outdoors person who thrives on physical activity, I would rethink making a commitment to an eBay business or any other computer based business. If it doesn't bother you to be inside and sitting at your computer for extended periods of time, you may want to give eBay a try.
Now, for myself, I don't mind the long hours at the computer, but I like the exercise too. I have a routine that allows for some outdoors time and a lot of time at the computer. This might suit you perfectly, but you must plan it and put in the work.
I get up at around 5:30 am and take a long walk and do some exercises on my weight machine before doing anything else. I sit down and start working at the computer at around 7:00 am. After that I try to get up every hour to do some stretching exercises and walk up and down the stairs. I purposely keep my water bottle downstairs so I will have to go down to get a drink.
I know that I must keep moving to keep my body healthy and fit.
Perhaps a similar routine will work for you. If so, then making a good income on eBay may just be the perfect thing for you.
